Independent Commodity Intelligence Services (ICIS), PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), and GC Marketing Solutions Company Limited (GCM) collaborated on a virtual seminar titled "The Petrochemical Industry Market Outlook 2022" for GCM's international customers, which included approximately 300 customers through Microsoft Teams.

Ms. Amber Lue, Head of Petrochemical Analytics, Asia-ICIS, presented the topic "Global Polyolefin Outlook: What will shape markets in 2022”, and Mr. Sutin Chamulitrat, Deputy Managing Director, International Sales, GCM, presented the topic "Together Towards for Sustainable Growth". These subjects are intended to keep customers informed about the most recent technologies for their business as well as global economic trends.

Furthermore, Mr. Anuwat Prathumyos, Application Solutions Engineer, GCM, provided plastic innovation updates on the theme of "Better Living for GC Sustainable Products" in order to promote GC products and create awareness about plastic issues.
While the COVID-19 epidemic may limit meeting chances, this event provides an opportunity for GCM and its customers to engage with one another and serves as a sincere thank you to customers for their continued support and participation.

ดร.คงกระพัน อินทรแจ้ง ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท พีทีที โกลบอล เคมิคอล จำกัด (มหาชน) (GC) กล่าวว่า โครงการ “Greater Care Charity by GC & Customers” เป็นความร่วมมือกันระหว่าง GC ผู้นำด้านนวัตกรรมเคมีภัณฑ์และพลาสติก GCM ผู้ดำเนินกิจกรรมทางการตลาดและจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์โพลิเมอร์ และลูกค้าคู่ค้าผู้ประกอบการพลาสติก 84 บริษัท ในการนำความชำนาญของตน มาช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยและบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ให้ก้าวผ่านวิกฤตโควิด 19 นี้ไปด้วยกัน โดยในระยะแรก โครงการได้ส่งมอบนวัตกรรมพลาสติกและผลิตภัณฑ์พลาสติกแบบครบวงจรให้แก่โรงพยาบาลสนามและศูนย์พักคอยในพื้นที่จังหวัดสมุทรสาคร สมุทรปราการ และระยอง ไปเรียบร้อยแล้ว สำหรับระยะที่ 2 นี้ GC GCM และลูกค้าและคู่ค้าผู้ประกอบการพลาสติก ได้สนับสนุนเงินทุนให้สภากาชาดไทย ในการจัดทำเครื่องบำบัดโรคทางเดินหายใจอัตราการไหลสูง (Chula HFNC) เพื่อส่งมอบให้กับโรงพยาบาลทั่วประเทศที่กำลังรับมือกับผู้ป่วยโควิด 19 ที่มีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ โดย GC GCM พร้อมด้วยลูกค้าและคู่ค้าผู้ประกอบการพลาสติกทั้ง 84 บริษัท จะยังคงมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์สิ่งที่ดีอันก่อให้เกิดสาธารณประโยชน์ ตลอดจนคิดค้นและพัฒนานวัตกรรม เพื่อช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีให้แก่สังคมและประเทศชาติต่อไป

เครื่องบำบัดโรคทางเดินหายใจอัตราการไหลสูง (Chula HFNC) เป็นการพัฒนาและผลิตร่วมกันระหว่าง สภากาชาดไทย คณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และศิษย์เก่าคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย นับว่าเป็นนวัตกรรมทางการแพทย์ที่พัฒนาและผลิตโดยคนไทยที่มีคุณภาพสูง และ ราคาที่เหมาะสม ถูกกว่าการนำเข้าจากต่างประเทศ 3-4 เท่า สามารถกระจายและส่งมอบให้โรงพยาบาลที่ขาดแคลนได้อย่างรวดเร็ว ทันต่อวิกฤตโควิด 19 ในปัจจุบัน ทั้งนี้ เครื่อง Chula HFNC ได้ผ่านการทดสอบมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยทางไฟฟ้าและการแผ่คลื่นสนามแม่เหล็กรบกวนเครื่องมืออื่น จากสถาบันไฟฟ้าและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ รวมถึงการผลิตนี้ได้มีการแจ้งให้กองควบคุมเครื่องมือแพทย์ และสํานักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา (อย.) รับทราบ ตามกฎหมายเครื่องมือแพทย์มาตรา 27(1) แล้ว https://www.pttgcgroup.com/en/updates/news/1730

     On 14th August 2021, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited or GC and GC Marketing Solutions Co., Ltd. or GCM together with customers and 84 plastic business partners have given innovative plastics and complete range of plastic products to support 4 new field hospitals and Community Isolation Centers located in Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan, and Rayong Province under the campaign “Greater Care Charity by GC & Customers”.
   Mr. Patiparn Sukorndhaman, the President of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited or GC and Chairman of the Board of Directors of GC Marketing Solutions Co., Ltd. or GCM said that GC is an innovative organization of chemical and plastic products while GCM is a marketing activities operator and polymer products distributor. The two organizations are working together and collaborating with their customers, partners and plastic manufacturers, who share the same kindness and decision, to use their expertise to drive and help patients including medical personnel to cross over this crisis together. 
    The construction of 4 new field hospitals and Community Isolation Centers will help supporting patients in green and yellow stage in the amber industrial factory area. There are 1,000 beds located in 2 locations in Samut Sakhon Province, which are Wat Ketmadi Sriwararam Hospital in the amount of 300 beds and Om Noi Hospital in the amount of 200 beds. Other locations are Samut Prakan Province, which is the Community Isolation Center in Bang Bo Sub-district in the amount of 150 beds, and Rayong Province, which is the field hospital at the Central Stadium in the amount of 350 beds. These locations are scheduled to be opened on 17th August 2021. The delivery of innovation and a complete range of quality plastic products in the amount of 7 million bath will help alleviating the pandemic situation and responding to 4 field hospitals and Community Isolation Centers. Such products include:
• 1,000 HDPE Field Beds (with complete bedding sets) under InnoPlus brand of GC, designed and produced by Aero Class Company Limited. The beds can be easily disassembled, large, light weight with only 21 kg., durable and can be held up to 200 kg. They can prevent the permeation of secretions and can be easily sterilized by chemical solution and heat. Therefore, they are reusable and recyclable.
• 10,500 Sets of Greater Care PE Gown by GC made of PP from HMC Polymers Company Limited or HMC and PE film plastic by Mitsui Hygiene Materials Co. (Thailand) Co., Ltd. or Mitsui Hygiene
• 3,600 Sets of Greater Care Reusable PPE Gown by GC, which are Tier 2 PPE Gowns and used in moderate risks areas. They are made of PP from HMC Polymers Company Limited or HMC and PE film plastic by Mitsui Hygiene Materials Co. (Thailand) Co., Ltd. or Mitsui Hygiene. They can prevent the permeation of secretions and are reusable.
• 48 High-Quality Lockers under Revolve® by Matrix Polymers brand which have been made of LLDPE compound under roto molding process. The design is beautiful, compact, strong, durable and light weight with only 13 kg. which is suitable for medical personnel and staffs in field hospitals.

   GC Marketing Solutions (GCM) and GC Marketing Solutions Vietnam (GCM Vietnam) organized technical training to improve knowledge and sustainability under GCM's Creating Shared Value (CSV) project. The training was attended by Thien Phuoc Manufacturing and Trading customers on May 7, 2021 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 
          The project is focused with the concept of good corporate citizenship in the country of GCM business operation. This technical training series was held for the third consecutive year for GCM Vietnam customers. The objective of this year’s training was to promote technical knowledge of polymers to help value-added products development including support continuous learning in the customer workplace.

   GC Marketing Solutions Company Limited (GCM), in collaboration with Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Public Organization) (T-OSH), presided over the opening of the online training course by Mr. Kitti Untimanon, Manager of the Corporate Affairs Division, as representative of the Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of GC Marketing Solutions Co., Ltd., on "Requirements of the Occupational Safety and Work Environment Standard System" under the project for workplace development in compliance with the occupational safety and work environment standard, and Safety Standard for SMEs Plus (SSS+). The training course, led by a consultant from NPC Safety and Environmental Service Co., Ltd. (NPC S&E), using Microsoft Teams application, was attended by 17 GCM customers who participated on 27-28 April 2021.
                The project has been implemented for the fifth consecutive year. This year’s participants are from 17 companies in the plastics industry and clients of GCM. The aim, according to GCM, is to develop workplace safety standard to lay the groundwork for the establishment of efficient work system for clients from the upstream to downstream sectors of the petrochemical industry, as part of the effort to raise industrial standards, enhancing the competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of the domestic industries.
